Manual or card payments? Make the record clear either way.

Separate a payment request from money received, understand platform and processing fees, and keep a useful history.

Start with the difference between requested and received.

A payment request tells a client what is due. It does not prove that money arrived. Choose a method you and your client understand, show the amount and due date, and agree on how receipt will be confirmed.

In CoachAgain, manual requests and Stripe card payments have separate records. Marking a manual payment received is the Owner’s acknowledgement; it is not independent bank verification.

Use manual methods with a deliberate review step.

Cash and other manual methods can fit an existing client relationship. Custom instructions or a private QR image can explain how to pay through an external service. Check that service yourself before acknowledging receipt.

CoachAgain does not process the funds for a manual request and does not apply its Stripe card platform fee to it. Your bank or external payment provider may have its own charges. Preserve the method and instructions that were shown when the request was issued.

Read platform and processing fees separately.

For newly quoted growth-plan card payments, CoachAgain’s platform fee is 0.25%, plus actual Stripe processing. Card, currency and account terms can change the processing cost. The Payments & Packages add-on and the CoachAgain software subscription are separate from transaction fees.

On a $100 successful Pro card payment, the CoachAgain platform fee is $0.25, plus the actual Stripe charge. That is not a guaranteed payout estimate. Check the fee quote before creating a request; issued requests retain their quoted CoachAgain fee. A newly created attempt after an expired Checkout may use the current plan’s rate.

Online card collection requires Payments & Packages, the Owner’s Stripe onboarding and the required account capabilities. The protected Preview uses a separate Stripe sandbox.

Keep refunds and corrections visible.

A refund is a new event in the payment’s history. CoachAgain’s platform fee returns proportionally for a partial refund, with the remaining platform fee returned on a full refund. Stripe’s original processing charges can remain a cost to the coach.

For manual methods, confirm the actual external refund before updating your own records. Use a clear note for a correction rather than treating a changed status as evidence of a bank transfer.
